Angkor Wat Ticket Prices to Increase

Ticket prices at Angkor Wat will be asked to pay the new price of $28 for a day pass and $62 for a three day pass to gain admission to the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Cambodian officials added that $2 from each ticket sold would be donated to a swiss-run children’s hospital that offers free medical treatment.

This announcement comes on the back of a new dress code that compels visitors to cover their knees and shoulders when in the ruins.

“Wearing revealing clothes disrespects the temple’s sanctity,” said Long Kosal, a spokesman for Apsara Authority, last month. “We will not allow [tourists] to buy a temple pass if they wear revealing clothes.”
